Jon Florence’s journey to the written page began in seventh grade English

class when presented with a story prompt assignment for the very

first time. It may have been something about finding an abandoned

riverboat in a swamp. He remembers thinking, “This…has possibilities.”

 

And so, it began.

 

Jon lives in Houston with his wife Jan and two cats. They (Jon and Jan, not the cats)

raised three daughters who are now grown and chasing their own adventures.
